Thank you Cardinal Dolan not only for “Another Boy, Another Question” but for your belief, devotion, and service to Christ and to all God’s children. It’s so difficult to understand how anyone can truly believe what Planned Parenthood does, as well as anyone that performs abortions, is anything but cruel and heartless. It’s such a shame that this has become a political issue rather than what it really is, a moral issue. I feel so sad for the mother’s that now see what Planned Parenthood is really about and how they have lied and mislead them. I sincerely hope that they realize that God will forgive them if they are truly repentant.
    May God bless us all.

Your Eminence, As chairman-elect of the USCCB’s Committee on Pro-Life Activities, I wish that you would broadcast your statements loud and clear across New York and the United States. You are in my prayers. God bless you.

Thank you your Eminence for finally addressing this horrific crime that has received such a mild response and limited attention across our country. It is my hope and expectation that the Catholic Church and in particular its clergy would take up a call to action – peaceful protests, rallies, and marches to bring attention to this horror and tell our political leaders that we will no longer stand for funding murder and the sale of body parts. Yes, we should also write our senators (and, congressmen, governors, and mayors) as Cardinal O’Malley suggest in his post on the USCCC site to defund Planned Parenthood. This is the least of the actions we should take: With deference, I ask – why is Catholic leadership not talking to reporters, not calling for a national day of prayer, going to D.C. for high level meetings with political leaders, calling on leaders and members of all religious to join us in our outrage. It is time to put our faith into action.
THAT IS HOW WE SHOULD RESPOND.
If we do not take a hard stand on this, if we do not rally the faithful for this, we are all in big trouble.
    Yours faithfully,
    Pat Fischer, Atlanta, GA

I had an abortion in 1987 and needed to see the organ-harvesting videos for myself to answer lingering questions I had in my mind. Its been completely confirmed to me from the videos that my baby was not a “blob of tissue,” and I had in fact killed my child.

Even though in 2000 I attended Project Rachel, a post abortion healing retreat, I’m outraged at Planned Parenthood and at myself for allowing such atrocities to occur. I, like millions of women, was betrayed and lied to. Not only is abortion a holocaust but it’s a profit-making holocaust.

I will no longer remain complacent. Not only is prayer need, but there needs to be a re-education of Americans, the defunding of Planned Parenthood, and an end to abortion.

Thank you, Cardinal Dolan, for pointing out the good side of this recent scandal. This has cut through the lies and now no one can pretend that this is not a baby. We may not bring down Planned Parenthood, but it’s bound to save some of those babies.

Our answer must always be to “Choose Life.” The Second Person of the Blessed Trinity was made flesh and became a “boy” at the moment of His conception.. It is a self-evident truth that every tiny baby boy and girl is a “person” at conception, too. The smallest embryo is a Child of God, one of us,, a brother and a sister. Whatever we do to the least of these our brethren, we do unto Jesus Hinself. Legal abortion like legal slavery must be abolished once and for all. Life and Liberty are self-evident, God-given, unalieanbale rights which are not just for some of us, but for all of us, especially those who are most defenseless and voiceless: unborn children.

Thanks for speaking out. We need to hear from the authority in the Church on these issues. Words give clarity, direction and most of all TRUTH. The gospel must be preached as it pertains to this.

Your question as to “how will we answer” seems to be in many parishes…….with silence.
I have not heard of anyone speaking of this tragedy from the pulpit.
I have not heard of any article being in any bulletin.
Why the great silence in our churches? Evil grows with the silence of “so-called” good people. Our church needs to wake up, speak out and lead the laity to action!!!!!
I am not able to know what all churches are doing so I apologize if any Pastors have spoken from the pulpit. We need to be vocal so our message for LIFE is heard, loud and clear! What do we really want the people to hear and know? Silence doesn’t do it!!
