where is the outrage? A rogue catholic small “c” governor states: pro-life, anti gay people have no place in the state of new York.
Your Eminence your silence broke my heart.

Good Cardinal Dolan: it appears that your Governor Cuomo has tossed the gauntlet with his anti-Catholic rhetoric. Who will pick it up and respond on our behalf?
At the very least, someone should tell him that, by his own definition, his own father, who was “personally opposed to abortion” would not be welcome in “his” state.
What is your response, your Eminence?

Gov. Cuomo isn’t even a good politician–alienating half of his constituents along with all the tolerant, fair-minded voters who might agree with him on some issues. Will he throw out the Statue of Liberty next?

    Dear Cardinal Dolan:
Thank you so much for your article on respecting all life. I have a beautiful grandson, James Daniel, who was born on May 4th2012. James has Down syndrome. When he was born the doctors apologized to my daughter and her husband because no prenatal scans or tests showed a possibility of any problem. My daughter told them that it would not have made a difference. I was very proud of her. My daughter and her husband are amazing parents of an amazing young boy. James has shown us determination, perseverance, unconditional love, and kindness. He has brightened our world and made a difference for everyone who knows him. The world would be a worse place without James. Thank you again.

Why are so many Roman Catholic Politicians allowed to receive the Sacraments; and profess to be Faithful; while driving the Forces on behalf of Abortion! Why; are they NOT Excommunicated!

    Dear Cardinal Dolan,

I deeply appreciate your out-spoken commitment to the Church and its eternal truths but I must point out that you have been less than forceful in your denunciation of the wicked statements of Governor Cuomo on the abortion issue -and he a “professing Catholic”. They must be opposed head-on. It is a sad day when the Catholic laity must remind the hierarchy to do the right thing.

Cardinal Dolan, you are one of my inspirations, but I have to ask the question: why are so many alleged Catholic politicians (Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, Cuomo, the Kennedys, etc.) allowed to receive the Sacraments and not be publicly excommunicated for their views on killing innocent babies? I appreciate your comments concerning Cuomo’s offensive comments about conservatives and pro-life supporters in NY, nut why isn’t he publicly excommunicated? His alleged Catholicism is a sham and should be exposed. You can’t be Catholic and rabidly support abortion. Please tell me if I’m wrong, but the faithful like me need you and our Catholic leaders to publicly call such sham artists out. And now I learn President Obama will meet will Pope Francis. Please tell me that Pope Francis will publicly call him out about abortion. Income inequality is a bogus issue (especially when the President’s policies make it worse) compared to the genocide of abortion. My wife and I are faithful givers to the church and charities to help those less fortunate. Charlatan politicians who want to use the Church for political purposes, but don’t care about innocent life need to be exposed. Please uplift me, by telling me the church will start holding these sham Catholics accountable and will take the gloves off in fighting the leftist agenda.

    Dear Cardinal Dolan,
Your obstinate refusal to publicly confront Gov. Cuomo on his tyrannical views on pro-life citizens and his flagrant abuse of the Holy Eucharist, aided and abetted by members of the New York Catholic hierarchy, is a source of great scandal and confusion for the laity. You were put in office not to make nice with hack politicians but to proclaim the truths, which we have received from the apostles.
