God is blessing you Cardinal Dolan for your wisdom and truth with addressing the suffering happening in this country. Yes, let us fervently pray that people of faith can be a light in this dark period and people lacking in faith might open their minds and hearts to God. (Milwaukee misses you!)

This hits the nail on the head, Cardinal Dolan. Truth, dignity, life, beauty, love – they’re all being battered mercilessly, with the greatest impact being played out in the lives (and deaths) of children. They are the ones being asked to pay the highest cost as we experiment with the fabric of society.

Perhaps suffering in its truest and most complete form is being disconnected from God and from each other. Although we are always subject to physical and mental suffering that we do not intentionally choose, the most harmful suffering seems to come from personal spiritual choices that hurt ourselves or others. Only with love for life in ourselves and in each other can we experience true peace, unify and strength to overcome our sufferings in mind and body.

, no matter how we might suffer in mind or in body.

Right on Carfinal Dolan! Tell it like it is.
Aretha Franklin said it best- R-E-S-P-E-C-T; that is what is missing in society today.
What the world needs now is LOVE!

Prayer, fasting and sacrifice is a strong force to fight evil.
Let us all think about ways, small or large, that we can do as Jesus did to give him the ” human” strength he needed to
be able to sacrifice his life for us.

    Cardinal Dolan,
I am with you all the way. What is happening to our Country. What happen to Peace & Love ? You can’t even come home and watch a nice program on television it’s full of evil and violence. Many of the programs I wonder, how are they allowed to be broadcast. I think this could be effecting our society.
Many people in our society are doing wonderful things and it’s rarely shared.
Keep Praying the Light of Christ heals our society.

    God Blessings,
    Joe

There are so many voices, it’s hard to hear the truth. But Jesus said, come follow me.
