We stand in utter need of God’s mercy. As we’re told in thefirst reading from Ezekiel, in a certain way, God depends onour mercy, too. God wants us all to besaved, but He won’t force it. It’s a gift.The conversation of heart necessary to accept God’s gift depends somewhat onus.
